Waffles of Liège

For about 8 waffles

500 gr plain flour
7 gr yeast
2 eggs
1 cup milk
250 gr melted butter
60 gr honey
300 gr sugar

Add all ingredients, except sugar, to the bread machine or mix them in a bowl if you’re not using a bread machine.
Mix for 10 to 15 minutes.
Add sugar and mix for another 2 to3 minutes.
Remove the dough and let stand for 20 minutes.
Heat the waffle machine and make waffles as directed by the machine’s manual.

Serve with ice cream.
